Charles Daly 301 Field Compact Features The Charles Daly 301 Field Compact pump action shotgun is chambered in .410 gauge with a 3 inch chamber giving shooters access to a wide range of factory .410 loads for small game and clay targets alike. The 22 inch vent rib barrel is built from steel and ships with full improved cylinder and modified choke tubes using the Beretta/Benelli Mobil pattern letting shooters tune their pattern for the task at hand. A crossbolt safety offers simple intuitive operation that new and experienced shooters alike can operate without hesitation. The single stage trigger provides a clean consistent break that helps with follow-up shots during a volume day at the range or in the field. A black anodized aluminum receiver features a grooved top for improved glare reduction and a classic shotgun profile. The fixed walnut stock gives the 301 Field Compact a traditional look and feel while the compact sizing suits smaller-framed shooters or those who prefer a quicker-handling gun. At 7.6 pounds and an overall length of 38.1 inches this shotgun balances enough heft for recoil management against the portability that makes a compact platform appealing. Hunters and clay shooters looking for an accessible classically styled .410 pump gun will find the 301 Field Compact a solid reliable option.
