Browning A5 Features The Browning A5 in 16 gauge uses the same humpback aluminum receiver and reliable gas-operated action that has made the A5 platform a favorite among waterfowl and upland hunters for generations. The 28 inch vent rib barrel wears a Mossy Oak Original Shadow Grass finish matched to the receiver giving the shotgun complete camouflage coverage that blends into marsh and timber alike. Three flush Invector-DS choke tubes in Full Modified and Improved Cylinder ship with the gun letting hunters dial in the right pattern for decoying ducks pass-shooting geese or calling in spring turkeys. A fiber-optic front sight paired with an ivory mid-bead gives a fast repeatable sight picture across changing light conditions in the field. The composite stock features a vertical pistol grip and textured gripping surfaces for a secure hold in wet weather and it is shim-adjustable for length of pull cast and drop so hunters can tailor the fit to their build. Included 1/4 inch and 1/2 inch stock spacers make that adjustment straightforward without a trip to the gunsmith. An Inflex II recoil pad softens the felt recoil of 16 gauge loads keeping the shotgun comfortable to shoot through a long day afield while the lighter 16 gauge chambering itself reduces recoil compared to a 12 gauge A5. Built by Browning for hunters who want A5 reliability in a lighter-kicking gauge the A5 is available for sale at GrabAGun.
