Rossi RP63 Features The Rossi RP63 is chambered in .357 Magnum and also accepts .38 Special plus P ammunition giving shooters flexibility to choose a lighter practice load or a full power carry round. Its double action single action trigger system offers a smooth long pull for defensive use or a crisp lighter single action break for deliberate precision shots. The firing pin is mounted directly to the hammer rather than in the frame a design choice that improves reliability across a wide range of primer hardness. A hammer block safety is built into the action to add an extra layer of drop safety during carry. Both the barrel and frame are finished in a matching Tungsten Cerakote over stainless steel giving the RP63 a durable corrosion resistant exterior alongside a visually distinct two piece color scheme against the matte black cylinder. The 3 inch full underlug barrel adds forward weight that helps tame the recoil impulse of magnum loads while still keeping the revolver compact enough for concealment. Black LOK G10 grips provide a textured secure purchase on the frame during recoil and the removable serrated front blade pairs with the fixed rear sight for a clear sight picture. Because the RP63 is sized to fit common medium frame holsters and speed loaders it integrates easily into an existing concealed carry setup for shooters who want a capable easy to carry revolver.
