Rossi R95 Classic Features The Rossi R95 Classic pairs a smooth lever action with the 454 Casull cartridge giving hunters a straight walled option that performs well in states with restrictions on traditional bottleneck hunting calibers. Its hammer forged 20 inch barrel is built for accuracy and durability over years of hunting seasons and a large loading gate makes topping off the 9 round tubular magazine quick in the field. The crossbolt safety gives a simple reliable way to carry the rifle safely while moving between hunting positions. Adjustable buckhorn rear sights paired with a driftable front sight let the hunter dial in windage and elevation without needing to mount an optic. Compatibility with rails and handguards lets owners configure the R95 Classic for different hunting scenarios whether that means adding a light for hog hunting at night or mounting an optic for longer shots. The black oxide finish on both the barrel and receiver resists corrosion in wet field conditions while giving the rifle a classic deep black appearance. A hardwood walnut stock rounds out the traditional look while standing up to the bumps and scrapes of real hunting use. At 6.95 pounds and 39 inches overall this lever gun carries easily through brush and timber making it a practical choice for hunters who want a slick lever action in a modern straight wall chambering.
