Auto-Ordnance M1 Carbine SBR Features The Auto-Ordnance M1 Carbine SBR is produced using newly manufactured parts machined on high precision computerized equipment at Kahr s Greeley PA facility giving the classic .30 Carbine platform modern manufacturing consistency. The 12 threaded barrel is shortened under NFA regulations and configured with a 1/2x28 thread pattern ready for a suppressor or muzzle device for reduced report and improved control during range sessions or collecting use. Blade front and flip-style adjustable rear sights provide a traditional military sight picture for the shooter preserving the look and feel of the original wartime carbine while delivering usable accuracy at typical carbine distances. A crossbolt safety offers simple familiar operation consistent with the original M1 Carbine design so shooters already acquainted with the platform find nothing unexpected in how the rifle runs. The walnut stock pairs classic wood furniture with modern M-LOK slots letting shooters mount lights slings or other accessories without altering the stock s traditional profile or drilling into the wood itself. A 15-round magazine feeds the semi-automatic action giving the shooter a useful capacity for range use or collecting purposes while keeping the rifle s profile trim and manageable. The overall 30 length and compact handling make this SBR easy to maneuver compared to a standard-length carbine whether stored in a truck carried on a hunt or kept on hand for home defense. For collectors and shooters who want a historically rooted .30 Carbine platform in a short barreled configuration backed by Kahr s modern production standards the Auto-Ordnance M1 Carbine SBR is available for sale at GrabAGun.
