Auto-Ordnance TAO50 Features The Auto-Ordnance TAO50 is built around a 29 inch black anodized threaded barrel with a 1:15 twist rate matched to heavy .50 BMG projectiles and a high efficiency muzzle brake tames recoil generated by the massive cartridge. The bolt action feeds from a 10 round Barrett M107A1 magazine giving the shooter a proven reliable feeding platform already trusted in long-range and anti-materiel rifle systems. A Picatinny rail receiver finished in Flat Dark Earth anodizing runs the length of the action providing a stable mounting surface for the glass a cartridge with this reach demands. The classic Auto-Ordnance bullet logo is custom engraved on both the lower receiver and the muzzle brake tying the rifle back to the brand s heritage even as it pushes into modern extreme long-range territory. Ergonomics come from a Magpul PRS Gen 3 precision adjustable stock and a Magpul MOE+ grip letting the shooter tune length of pull and comb height for a consistent cheek weld behind a large-format optic. A Timney AR-style trigger delivers a crisp consistent break that helps extract accuracy from the rifle at extended distances while the ambidextrous thumb safety keeps the controls usable regardless of the shooter s dominant hand. The rifle ships complete with an Accu-Tac bipod for a stable field or bench rest and the whole package travels in a custom hard case equipped with wheels for moving 25.5 pounds of rifle without strain. For the extreme long-range shooter who wants a turnkey .50 BMG platform the Auto-Ordnance TAO50 is available for sale at GrabAGun.
