Arisaka Ring Light Mount Features The Arisaka Defense Ring Light Mount uses a vertically anchored ring design that clamps securely around light bodies from 1.00 inch to 1.03 inches in diameter covering popular 1 inch lights like the Surefire G2. Because the ring stays fixed to the handguard the light itself can be dropped in or pulled out without removing any hardware from the rifle speeding up light changes or battery swaps. The offset ring placement is engineered to keep the light body clear of common front sight setups such as a Magpul Gen 2 MBUS on a thin handguard like the Noveske NSR. This attention to sight clearance means the mount can be positioned without forcing the shooter to choose between a usable light position and an unobstructed sight picture.
