Area 419 Improved Scope Rail Features The Area 419 Improved Scope Rail is machined in house on a 4-axis HAAS VMC from 7075 aluminum and advanced fixturing guarantees the 20 MOA angle holds true to spec every time. Picatinny slots run the entire length of the rail giving shooters room to position rings exactly where the build calls for rather than being locked into fixed hole spacing. A recoil lug at the rear acts as a mechanical stop keeping the base from shifting under recoil. T10 Torx mounting screws are included and sized the same length throughout so there is no guessing which screw goes where during installation. Every edge coming off the mill is radiused including the slots and the corners of the lugs eliminating snag points and giving the rail a cleaner overall look compared to typical stamped bases. The hardcoat Type III black anodized finish stands up to field use and recoil without wearing through. A stainless recoil pin is included to work with receivers that have the hole available while the rail still mounts without issue on those that do not. Torqued to 15 in/lb with the included T10 Torx key this rail gives Tikka T3 and T3X shooters the confidence to make precise long range shots.
