Product Description
Area 419 Scope Base Features The Area 419 Scope Base is machined from a single piece of T7075 aluminum on Area 419 s in house Haas 4 axis machining center which allows for a precise fit to the Ruger 10/22 receiver that will not shift or budge under the light recoil of a rimfire rifle. The MIL-STD 1913 Picatinny interface gives shooters a wide range of ring and mount options while the built in 15 MOA of elevation compensates for bullet drop at extended rimfire competition distances. At 8.4 inches long and roughly 0.9 inches tall the base provides a solid stable mounting platform without adding unnecessary bulk to the rifle. Type III black hardcoat anodizing protects the base from wear and corrosion through repeated mounting and dismounting of optics. This scope base was developed specifically in response to requests from precision rimfire competitors who wanted a dedicated precisely fitted option for the Ruger 10/22 platform. Each base ships with the wrench needed to properly torque the clamp screws ensuring a secure and repeatable installation. For Ruger 10/22 shooters chasing precision rimfire accuracy this base offers the elevation and the rigidity that a stock mounting surface cannot.
