Area 419 Hellfire SiCo Charlie/Saker Mount Features The Area 419 Hellfire mount is purpose built to let a SilencerCo Saker Chimera or Omega 36M thread directly onto the Hellfire Universal Adapter after the shooter removes the Hellfire brake itself. Because the Generation 2 mounts no longer rely on a collar like the muzzle brake they torque permanently into the suppressor and allow it to function as a left-hand direct thread unit which keeps the mount s footprint compact and adds very little overall length. Area 419 recommends blue Loc-Tite on the mount s external threads to hold it semi-permanently in place since the opposing thread direction means a loose mount could unscrew during installation rather than seize. If that happens the opposing threads make separation simple rather than a stuck assembly so the shooter can simply reverse the mount and start again. Constructed from aerospace grade 17-4PH stainless steel and finished in black nitride the mount resists galling through repeated attach and detach cycles in the field or at the range. Note that the small silver or gold factory insert inside a compatible suppressor must be removed before installation since carbon buildup can sometimes bind it in place.
