Product Description
The Sears & Roebuck Model 101.100 is a single-shot, break-action utility shotgun that Sears, Roebuck & Co. sold through its catalogs and department stores starting in the mid-20th century.
The prefix "101" in Sears' catalog system designated Savage Arms (including Stevens/Fox subsidiaries) as the actual manufacturer. The Model 101.100 is a store-brand equivalent of the Savage Model 96 (and related Stevens/Fox single-shot designs).
Many production runs from the 1950s and 1960s (pre-Gun Control Act of 1968) were manufactured without serial numbers (NSN), making them classic "farm and truck" working guns. Later variants like the Model 101.100A included incremental updates.
