The Henry Mare's Leg in .357 Magnum is a distinctive lever-action firearm inspired by the shortened rifle-style firearms popularized by Western television and film. It combines the traditional look of a lever-action repeating firearm with a compact configuration, a shortened buttstock area and a large-loop lever. Manufactured by Henry Repeating Arms, the Mare's Leg is designed around the familiar lever-action operating system. Depending on the exact version, it may feature a blued or brass-finished receiver, a wood grip, and a compact barrel.
