The RP features both a Tilt lock lever and pan locking knob. This allows you to adjust tension on leveling/panning, or lock out the panning feature. If you want to lock the Pan: Engage the pan lock. The tilt lock lever will only adjust tension leveling with tilt. If you want to pan: Disengage the pan lock, and the tilt lock lever will adjust tension for both pan and tilt.
