evo.com | GNU Snowboards > The GNU Velvet Snowboard is a team-rider favorite built for riders who see the entire mountain as one continuous park. Its snappy flex and C2 hybrid contour deliver a smooth blend of pop and stability, while Magne-Traction(R) keeps edge hold predictable and catch-free across changing conditions. With eco-sublimated plant-based graphics and a balanced all-terrain feel, the Velvet is equally at home boosting side hits, carving banked turns, or turning everyday terrain into a freestyle canvas. 2 x 4 Inserts Eco Sublimated Poly Top Tough and environmentally nice. True Twin UHMW Sidewalls Tough and Fast Magne-Traction(R) 7 strategically located and sized edge serrations provide unreal edge hold and control in all conditions. The Bent Metal Stylist Snowboard Bindings were clearly designed by someone who believes sending it and looking fresh are equally important objectives. A Magnesium Fiber Drive Plate and asymmetric nylon highback handle the serious all-mountain performance side of things, while the soft-flex Dual Band ankle strap keeps your feet happy enough to stick around for apres. Lightweight, versatile, and suspiciously good-looking for a piece of equipment that spends most of its time getting banged up on the mountain.
