We built the Basin + Range Keepin' On Quilted Jacket to add warmth wherever the day calls for it, around camp, around town, or layered under a shell when a cold snap moves in. Quilted synthetic insulation and a 2-way center zipper let it work as a standalone layer or the piece underneath something heavier, and a hood adds coverage without extra weight. What Our Gearhead(R) Experts Are Saying:"I've zipped this under my shell on a genuinely cold, snowy day running errands in town, and it made the difference between rushing back to the car and actually being fine outside for a while. The two-way zipper lets me vent it the second I step back into somewhere warm."
