XTech Tactical Gen 2 Freedom Magazine for AK-47 Features The Xtech Tactical Gen 2 Freedom magazine holds 10 rounds of 7.62 X 39 inside a full size 30 round polymer body so it drops into an AK-47 magazine well and sits flush like a standard magazine. Non steel reinforced lugs and feed lips keep the magazine lightweight while still locking in securely and the reduced capacity spring is matched to the shorter column of ammunition. A spring anti bind mechanism keeps the follower tracking straight as rounds feed which helps prevent the binding issues that plague some reduced capacity magazines. The stainless steel spring resists corrosion and fatigue over repeated loading cycles. A quick release base plate lets shooters strip the magazine down for cleaning or spring replacement without tools which keeps routine maintenance fast at the range or in the field. The all polymer construction keeps weight down compared to steel bodied magazines while still standing up to regular use. Built to fit most AK-47 variants this Freedom series magazine is a practical option for shooters in jurisdictions or situations calling for a reduced capacity magazine. Made in the USA it is available for sale at GrabAGun for AK owners who want a dependable low capacity magazine without giving up the familiar 30 round footprint.
