XS Sights Picatinny Optic Mount Features The XS Sights Picatinny Optic Mount gives Rossi R92 owners a Picatinny spec rail for mounting a scout scope or red dot sight opening up optic options the carbine does not offer from the factory. Machined from aluminum and hard anodized for durability the rail resists the dings and wear that come from field use without adding noticeable weight to the carbine. At just half an ounce and an 11.5 inch length the mount is built to extend across the receiver for a stable optic platform. This lets shooters take advantage of modern red dot or scout scope technology on a traditional lever gun. Installation is designed to be straightforward with the kit including the rail itself mounting screws blue threadlocker and an insert card with instructions to walk through the process. The Rossi R92 is prized for being light quick handling and reliable and this mount preserves those qualities while adding the option of faster target acquisition through an optic. Whether the rifle is used for hunting home defense or range practice having a dependable optic mount expands what the carbine can do. For R92 owners looking to modernize their lever action without major gunsmithing the XS Sights Picatinny Optic Mount is a direct bolt on solution.
