Wilson Combat Sierra MatchKing Features The Wilson Combat Sierra MatchKing load centers on a 69 grain hollow point boat tail bullet a proven match projectile prized for its consistency and high ballistic coefficient. Loaded in .223 Rem it leaves the muzzle at 2700 fps and carries 1117 ft lbs of energy delivering the flat trajectory and reduced wind drift that long-range accuracy work demands. The boat tail design cuts drag as the bullet travels downrange helping preserve velocity and stability at extended distances. Wilson Combat states this exact load is suitable for 1-7 1-8 or 1-9 twist barrels giving it broad compatibility across common rifle builds. Each box supplies a 20-round count of brass cased precision loaded ammunition purpose built as an accuracy load rather than a general-purpose plinking round. The Sierra MatchKing bullet has long been a favorite among competitive shooters for its uniformity from round to round a trait that translates directly into tighter groups on paper. This load is built for target and match use where pinpoint accuracy matters more than raw power.
