Wilson Combat Match Grade Tactical Hunter Barrel Features The Wilson Combat Match Grade barrel is precisely machined from American made 416R rifle rated stainless steel to exacting technical specifications on computer controlled equipment. The 1:7.5 twist rate is matched to the 6mm ARC cartridge to stabilize longer heavier bullets for consistent long range accuracy. A hand polished bore and feed ramps along with a precision muzzle crown and optimized chamber and gas port round out a barrel built for reliability as much as precision. The Tactical Hunter fluted profile trims unnecessary weight while keeping the barrel stiff enough to hold its accuracy under repeated strings of fire. At 18 in length and 28.9 oz this barrel gives an AR-15 platform the ideal balance for carrying afield all day without wearing down the shooter before the shot presents itself. The bead blasted stainless finish resists corrosion in wet hunting conditions while keeping a low glare profile in the field. Threaded 5/8x24 at the muzzle it accepts a brake or suppressor for shooters who want reduced recoil or noise. Backed by nearly two decades of AR-15 barrel building experience and a rigorous final inspection process this Wilson Combat barrel is built for hunters and precision shooters who demand match grade performance from their 6mm ARC rifle.
