Weatherby Long Action Picatinny Rail Features The Weatherby Long Action Picatinny Rail is machined from aerospace grade aluminum to keep the mount light while standing up to repeated recoil on a long action rifle. Its 20 MOA of built in cant compensates for bullet drop at distance letting the scope s internal adjustment range be used for windage and fine elevation corrections rather than being used up just getting on paper. The matte black finish resists glare and matches factory Weatherby metalwork for a clean finished look on the rifle. A one piece Picatinny and Weaver style rail accepts a wide range of ring styles giving shooters flexibility in choosing the optic setup that fits their rifle. The rear cutout in the rail is a deliberate design choice that allows rings to sit lower on the action which improves cheek weld and shortens the distance the eye has to travel to find proper eye relief. That same cutout also provides clearance for large objective scopes that would otherwise contact the receiver on a standard base. Mounting hardware and a T10 Torx bit are included in the box so no separate purchase is needed to get the base installed correctly at the specified torque. Built specifically for the Weatherby Model 307 long action this rail gives hunters and long range shooters a direct factory fit upgrade path for sale at GrabAGun.
