A PVD finish is applied on top to further boost wear resistance so the lever keeps its look and function through repeated carry and use. Subtle radius changes built into the design smooth out the takedown process compared to the factory lever which can feel stiff or abrasive in everyday use. A 2x raised surface with serrations that echo the OEM design gives the lever noticeably more surface area and texture to grip whether it is used as a thumb rest or engaged quickly under stress.
