Product Description

Thompson Center T-Handle Short Starter Features The Thompson Center Arms T-Handle Short Starter is built with a solid aluminum shaft which means the tool stays rigid and reliable through repeated seating of projectiles without flexing or wearing out. A rugged polymer palm saving knob is molded into the T-handle protecting the shooter s hand from the pressure needed to properly seat a bullet in the bore. The concave loading tip is shaped to cradle a projectile securely giving the user controlled consistent starts every time a bullet is loaded. Because the shaft threads onto a ramrod using a 10-32 thread pattern it works with compatible ramrods across a range of muzzleloader models. The T-handle s removable seating end allows the tool to convert a standard ramrod into a dedicated work rod which is useful for cleaning tasks beyond simply starting a bullet. By removing the seating end and screwing the T-Handle onto a ramrod shooters effectively extend the ramrod s length making repeated seating of projectiles easier during continuous shooting at the range. This added leverage results in firmer more uniform seating than a standard ramrod alone can provide. Compact and easily packed afield this starter is built for .45 to .58 caliber muzzleloaders and finished in black for a clean functional appearance.
