At 16.5 inches overall with a 1:16 twist rate it is sized to maintain accuracy with standard .22 LR ammunition in a competition oriented package. An aluminum barrel shroud wraps the thin barrel for added tensioning and rigidity and that same shroud is cut for direct M-LOK mounting making the Spitfire the first 10/22 barrel to offer this capability without an aftermarket adapter. This allows shooters to attach M-LOK compatible accessories like lights lasers or bipods directly to the barrel assembly. At the muzzle standard 1/2x28 threading supports a wide range of aftermarket devices and the barrel ships with an installed thread protector and O-ring for immediate use out of the box.
