SIONYX Aurora Black Features The Sionyx Aurora Black Monocular uses a color digital CMOS sensor paired with a 720p HD resolution feed displayed on a Micro OLED screen at 1024x768 giving users a clear full-color view even in near-moonless starlight conditions as low as 2 millilux. The 16mm f/1.4 lens and 60 Hz frame rate keep the image smooth and detailed as light conditions change throughout the night. Digital magnification ranges from 1x to 3x with a 40 degree field of view and a focus range from 0.3 meters to infinity giving flexibility for both close observation and longer-range scanning. Diopter adjustment from negative 4 to positive 4 allows the monocular to be dialed in for individual eyesight. Built to an IP67 ingress protection rating the Aurora Black is water and dust resistant and can be submerged to 3 feet for up to 30 minutes while its housing withstands impacts up to 1 meter on concrete. It has been recoil tested to 4 000 rounds on an M4 carbine in 5.56 NATO using the company s proprietary weapon mount confirming its durability for hard use. Wireless Wi-Fi connectivity lets users stream and save recorded video directly to a smartphone through the Sionyx app with a built-in 32GB microSD card for onboard storage. At about 9.8 ounces and roughly 2 hours of battery life per charge the Aurora Black Monocular is a compact versatile night vision tool for hunting security and outdoor use.
