Shadow Systems CR920 Magazine Extension Plus 1 Features The Shadow Systems CR920 Magazine Extension Plus 1 attaches directly to the existing 10-round magazine tube adding one additional round of capacity for a total of 11 rounds. The extended basepad is contoured to provide a rest for the shooter s pinky finger which helps improve grip purchase and control over the pistol especially during strings of rapid fire. This assembly is a complete replacement unit rather than a simple add-on meaning it does not reuse any components from the factory basepad or from other Shadow Systems extensions so every part needed for installation is included in the package. Shooters looking for more control without added bulk may prefer the company s pinky extension instead since this Plus 1 basepad runs slightly larger. Because it installs directly onto the stock magazine tube the extension is a straightforward upgrade that does not require modifying the magazine body or purchasing an entirely new magazine. The added capacity while modest at a single round can make a meaningful difference in a carry or duty context where every round counts. Shadow Systems also notes that the locking pin used in this basepad assembly is interchangeable with the pin used on the company s MR DR and XR trigger housings simplifying replacement parts for owners of multiple Shadow Systems products. For CR920 owners looking for a small purpose-built capacity and control upgrade the Shadow Systems Magazine Extension Plus 1 is available for sale at GrabAGun.
