Samson Gas Block Cap Features The Samson B.A. Sling Point replaces the factory Ruger Mini-14 or Mini Thirty gas block cap with a purpose built part that adds an integrated sling attachment point. This design gives owners a simple direct way to mount a sling without resorting to aftermarket clamps or adapters that can shift or loosen over time. Compatible with Mini-14 rifles featuring a factory flanged .625 inch diameter barrel manufactured in 2008 or later as well as Mini Thirty rifles with either the older straight pencil or newer flanged .625 inch barrel the part is designed to be a precise factory-style fit. Machined from 4140 Chromoly steel the cap is built to handle the stress of sling use without deforming or failing. A black oxide finish protects the part from corrosion while keeping its appearance consistent with factory finished components. At just 1.3 ounces and measuring 1.25 inches long by 1.75 inches wide the B.A. Sling Point adds minimal bulk or weight to the rifle. Its compact size keeps the Mini-14 or Mini Thirty s factory silhouette intact while discreetly adding practical sling functionality. For Mini-14 and Mini Thirty owners who want a dependable upgrade over the stock gas block cap the Samson B.A. Sling Point is a straightforward well built solution.
