Ruger American G2 Wilderness Topo Features The Ruger American G2 Wilderness Topo is chambered in 7mm PRC a modern long-range cartridge built to deliver flat trajectories and retained energy at extended distances on big game. The 20 barrel is spiral fluted to shed weight while still providing enough steel to manage heat during a hunting string of shots. Threading at the muzzle allows hunters to add a suppressor or muzzle brake depending on the terrain and their tolerance for recoil versus sound. The G2 platform is built around Ruger s proven bolt-action design known for smooth cycling and dependable lockup in the field. The Wilderness Topo configuration is intended for backcountry hunters covering rough terrain where weight and durability both matter. A 3-round capacity keeps the action s footprint compact while still giving hunters a follow-up shot if the first does not connect. The rifle s fluted threaded barrel setup reflects a modern approach to hunting rifle design balancing weight savings with the flexibility to run a suppressor. For hunters chasing game at range in demanding conditions the Ruger American G2 Wilderness Topo in 7mm PRC offers a dependable purpose-built platform for the backcountry.
