Pro Mag Industries Drum Magazine Features The ProMag drum magazine dramatically increases the ammunition capacity of the Springfield Armory Prodigy 2011 and EAA 2311 platforms holding 50 rounds of 9mm Luger in a single loading. Its body is molded from a proprietary DuPont Zytel-based polymer a material selected for its impact resistance and light weight compared to an all-metal magazine body. A blue steel upper magazine tower reinforces the critical feed lips area an important detail for maintaining reliable function under the stress of a high round count. An injection molded follower helps ensure consistent smooth feeding as the magazine empties from full to last round. The magazine spring is formed from heat treated stainless steel a construction choice that helps it maintain consistent tension over repeated loading and firing cycles. This level of engineering reflects ProMag s focus on building extended capacity magazines that shooters can rely on for competition range use or high-volume training. Manufactured in the USA the drum magazine gives Prodigy and 2011-pattern pistol owners a dramatic capacity upgrade over standard factory magazines. Shooters looking to extend their pistol s capacity for competition or range day will find this ProMag 50-round drum for sale at GrabAGun.
