Patriot Ordnance Factory Phoenix Features The Patriot Ordnance Factory Phoenix runs on a straightforward blowback operating system chambered in 9mm Luger a design that trades complexity for reliability and easy maintenance. The 8 chrome moly vanadium barrel wears a black nitride finish for corrosion resistance and is threaded 1/2x28 under a 2-port muzzle brake that helps tame muzzle rise during rapid strings of fire. A 1:10 twist rate stabilizes standard 9mm bullet weights across a range of loads so shooters are not locked into a narrow ammunition selection. With an overall length of 17.5 and a weight around 4.8 to 5.5 lbs the Phoenix stays maneuverable in tight spaces while still delivering the substantial 35-round capacity that sets it apart from smaller pistol-caliber platforms. Furniture on the Phoenix comes from Mission First Tactical including the ergonomic MFT grip and the MFT Stabilizer Brace mounted on a mil-spec buffer tube and Picatinny rail at the rear. An M-LOK handguard up front gives shooters modern real estate for lights foregrips and other accessories without adding unnecessary bulk. The Flat Dark Earth Cerakote finish on the receiver pairs with the black nitride barrel for a durable two-tone look that resists wear from repeated handling. Ambidextrous safety selectors accommodate shooters of either hand making this Phoenix a flexible choice for range work home defense or anyone building out a 9mm AR-style pistol platform.
