Patriot Ordnance Factory P415 Edge Features The POF-USA P415 Edge uses E2 Dual Extraction Technology a system developed by POF-USA to improve case extraction reliability under adverse conditions compared to standard AR-platform designs cutting down on the stuck cases and short-stroking that plague dirty or over-gassed guns. A gas piston operating system keeps combustion byproducts out of the action reducing fouling and heat transfer to the bolt carrier group for more consistent cycling over extended use and longer intervals between cleanings. The match grade nitride heat-treated barrel is cut with a 1-8 twist suited to a wide range of 5.56 bullet weights from light varmint loads to heavier match projectiles and finished with a triple port muzzle device to help control muzzle rise and keep the pistol on target through rapid strings of fire. An anti-tilt buffer tube design further improves reliability during rapid or sustained fire by keeping the action running true under recoil. Complete ambidextrous fire controls including an ambidextrous thumb safety give shooters full manipulation from either side of the pistol regardless of hand dominance a real advantage for left-handed shooters and for anyone transitioning the gun between hands in a dynamic environment. The MFT Engage V2 grip offers a secure ergonomic hold that keeps the pistol controllable under recoil while the POF drop-in trigger delivers a crisp consistent 4.5 lb pull for confident repeatable shot placement. A Tungsten Cerakote finish covers the machined billet aluminum frame providing durable corrosion resistance in a distinctive non-standard color that sets the P415 Edge apart from a typical black rifle. The 9-inch Edge Rail System gives shooters a full-length M-LOK mounting surface for lights optics and other accessories on this purpose-built 5.56 pistol designed for compact maneuverability without sacrificing capability.
