Nobel Heavy Field Features The Nobel Heavy Field is loaded with #6 lead shot to deliver dense effective patterns on upland birds and light game at typical field ranges. A 2-1/2 dram equivalent powder charge pushes the payload to 1165 fps striking a balance between knockdown power and the reduced recoil that makes 20 gauge shotguns easy to shoot all day. The 209 primer provides reliable consistent ignition an important trait for hunters who need every shell to fire when a covey flushes. Its plastic hull and steady manufacturing keep pressures and velocity consistent from box to box. Chambered for the standard 2-3/4 20 gauge shell this load fits the wide range of lightweight over unders pumps and semi autos favored by upland hunters and youth shooters alike. The 1 oz payload is well suited to smaller framed shotguns giving new shooters a comfortable introduction to wingshooting without punishing recoil. Each 25-round box is a practical amount to carry afield for a day of hunting or a training session. The Nobel Heavy Field is a trusted American-made choice for 20 gauge shooters for sale at GrabAGun.
