Nobel Heavy Field Features The NobelSport Heavy Field shell is built around a 1 ounce payload of number 8 lead shot a size that throws a tight uniform pattern well suited to smaller upland birds and clay targets. NobelSport builds this load with the reduced recoil that 20 gauge sporting arms are known for keeping the 2-1/2 dram equivalent charge in check to limit muzzle rise. That soft shooting behavior makes it a practical choice for new shooters learning to read upland flushes and swing on light game. Lighter recoil also means faster more controlled follow up shots when a covey scatters and a second bird presents itself. A 209 primer and consistent 1 ounce lead charge deliver reliable speed and pressure round after round performance that has made this load one of NobelSport s most popular American offerings. The 1250 feet per second muzzle velocity gives hunters quick reach on birds that break early from cover. This shell sits within NobelSport s Heavy Field lineup a versatile group of loads made to perform across upland hunting and range work alike. NobelSport Heavy Field 20 gauge ammunition packed 25 rounds per box is available for sale at GrabAGun for hunters who want a dependable load without heavy recoil.
