NobelSport Steel Waterfowl High Velocity Features The NobelSport Steel Waterfowl High Velocity pushes a 1-1/8 oz charge of steel #2 shot to 1500 fps a significant velocity gain over NobelSport s standard waterfowl offerings. That extra speed flattens trajectory and shortens the lead required on incoming or crossing birds which is valuable when a flock commits and gives hunters only seconds to shoot. The steel shot construction is built specifically for waterfowl hunting over water and in areas where non-toxic shot is required by regulation. Housed in a 3 magnum plastic hull the shell is built to handle the higher pressures that come with the increased velocity. For waterfowl hunters who need a shorter lead on fast committed birds the NobelSport Steel Waterfowl High Velocity s flattened trajectory delivers that quicker engagement. This load is engineered for the specific conditions waterfowl hunters face when engagement windows close quickly and shot opportunities are limited. The slightly reduced payload compared to NobelSport s standard Waterfowl loads keeps recoil more manageable across a full box letting hunters stay on target through multiple volleys in a blind. Each 25-round box is sized to get a hunter through a full morning or evening hunt without frequent reloading. For waterfowl hunters who need to stay on target through multiple volleys in a blind this Steel Waterfowl High Velocity load s manageable recoil delivers that consistency shot after shot.
