Military Armament Corp RA9 Sport Features The Military Armament Corp RA9 Sport is built around the serialized RA9 Monoblock fire-control chassis a design that lets the internal trigger group transfer between compatible frames while keeping the pistol s legal identity tied to one part. A 4.75 inch 4140 steel barrel finished in black QPQ Tenifer resists wear and corrosion while feeding through a lightened window-cut slide that trims reciprocating mass for faster recovery between shots. The slide is machined for direct optic mounting on the RMR footprint so a red dot can be added without an adapter plate getting in the way of a low fast sight picture. A fiber optic front sight paired with an adjustable target rear sight rounds out the sighting system for both day-to-day carry and precision range work. The RA9 Sport trades the RA9 family s usual polymer grip for a premium black anodized aluminum frame with orange aluminum grip panels a combination that adds heft and rigidity while giving the pistol a distinct two-tone look on the range. Ambidextrous controls and a metal magazine well ease reloads under time pressure while the two included 17-round magazines with metal base plates extend the pistol s capacity to 17+1. A magazine loading tool cleaning kit and firearm lock are included alongside the RMR optic adapter plate rounding out a complete package. Built for shooters who want the reliability of the RA9 platform in a heavier optics ready configuration the RA9 Sport is a range-oriented 9mm ready for serious practice.
