Mesa Tactical SureShell Side Saddle Features The Mesa Tactical SureShell carrier holds six shells in glass filled polymer holders that resist wear and hold shells securely through recoil and handling. An innovative dual rubber friction system keeps shotshells locked in place preventing rattle or accidental loss during movement. The carrier mounts to the receiver by way of a lightweight aluminum back plate secured with brass threaded inserts giving it a solid rattle free fit on the Remington 870. This combination of polymer holders and a metal backing plate balances weight savings with long term durability. The saddle rail is machined from aircraft grade 6061-T6 aluminum and mil-spec hard anodized for a durable non-glare matte finish that resists wear in the field. Built to MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny specifications the rail provides a robust mounting platform for a variety of optical sights on the left side of the receiver. No gunsmithing is required for installation so shooters can add both extra shell capacity and an optic mount in a single bolt-on unit. This makes the SureShell system a practical upgrade for 870 owners looking to add capacity and optics readiness at the same time.
