Mec-Gar Floorplate Plus-2 Adapter Set Features The Mec-Gar USA Plus-2 Adapter Set is built around a polymer magazine extender that adds two additional rounds of capacity to compatible Mec-Gar Glock compatible full size 9mm magazines. A heat treated phosphate steel locking plate replaces the factory floorplate providing a durable foundation that locks the extension securely onto the magazine body. The kit includes a Type D music wire spring matched to the added length ensuring reliable feeding all the way to the top of the extended capacity. A high visibility green polymer follower rounds out the kit making it easy to see remaining ammunition at a glance during a reload or chamber check. Finished in a matte black surface for the extender and locking plate the kit is part of Mec-Gar s IFS line of innovations for shooters developed through the company s own research and development department. Manufactured in Italy using advanced production techniques every component in the set is thoroughly quality tested before it reaches the shooter to guarantee consistent reliable performance. Because the kit is designed specifically for Mec-Gar Glock compatible full size 9mm magazines it installs as a direct replacement for the factory floorplate without modification to the magazine body itself. For shooters who want more rounds on tap from their existing Mec-Gar magazines this Plus-2 Adapter Set is a straightforward upgrade.
