Mdt Sporting Goods Inc GRND-POD Bipod Features The Mdt Sporting Goods Inc GRND-POD Bipod was engineered to maximize versatility while keeping cost in check without sacrificing the features shooters have told MDT matter most in a precision rifle bipod. An adjustable throw lever controls cant tension giving the shooter fine control over how freely the rifle can pivot side to side on uneven ground. One handed operation allows quick deployment and adjustment without breaking the shooter s position behind the rifle. Four locking leg positions at 0 50 90 and 180 degrees give the GRND-POD the flexibility to adapt from a flat bench to an awkward prone position in the field. A 6061-T6 aluminum core forms the heart of the bipod providing a strong stable base while high strength polymer buttons keep the controls durable under repeated use. Strong ultra light carbon fiber legs extend the bipod s height from 4.5 to 9 inches and high traction rubber feet grip the ground securely during firing. At just over 1 pound the GRND-POD adds minimal weight to a precision rifle setup while still delivering rapid deployment and rock solid stability. Attaching via a Picatinny interface the MDT GRND-POD Bipod is a versatile well built option for precision shooters who need adaptability in the field.
