LWRC Individual Carbine MKII Features The LWRC Individual Carbine MKII runs on LWRCI s proprietary short stroke gas piston operating system delivering unmatched reliability in extreme conditions compared to a standard direct impingement AR while staying easy to maintain in 5.56 NATO. A two-position adjustable gas block has been updated to a paddle design and relocated inside the rail letting the shooter quickly switch between suppressed and unsuppressed settings without tools. The 10.5 inch barrel finished in black nitride with a 1:7 twist is threaded 1/2x28 for muzzle devices and stabilizes the full range of common 5.56 loads. Flip up front and rear sights give the shooter a reliable backup sighting system that folds out of the way when a red dot or optic is mounted on the Picatinny top rail. The updated upper receiver adopts the M-LOK mounting system for its handguard giving the shooter modern accessory attachment points along the full length of the rail while the Patriot Brown Cerakote finish sets this build apart visually from a standard black pistol. An SB Tactical SBA3 brace ships factory installed providing a stabilizing point of contact for the forearm during one-handed shooting. Black polymer furniture including the AR-style grip contrasts against the brown receiver while keeping the manual of arms familiar to anyone experienced with standard AR-15 platforms. Feeding from a 30-round magazine the LWRC Individual Carbine MKII gives shooters a genuinely mil-spec-grade AR pistol built on a gas piston system proven in demanding conditions.
