Leupold VX-Freedom Features The Leupold VX-Freedom is built around Leupold s Advanced Optical System delivering tried and true light transmission and best in class glare reduction in harsh lighting conditions. A 4-12x zoom range with a 40mm objective gives hunters the versatility to engage targets at moderate to extended distances whether still hunting timber or glassing open country. The second focal plane Hunt-Plex reticle keeps the crosshair at a constant size regardless of magnification setting making it simple and intuitive to use in the field without having to account for reticle growth at higher power. Adjustment is made in 1/4 MOA increments with 80 MOA of total elevation and windage travel available giving shooters plenty of room to dial for distance or wind without running out of travel. The scope is fully waterproof fogproof and shockproof with hardened surface coatings added to meet extreme military standards for scratch resistance and lens protection so it holds up to the bumps and weather exposure that come with hard hunting use. Its 1 inch maintube and matte black finish keep the scope lightweight at 15.50 ounces while maintaining a traditional low-profile look on any rifle and the compact profile helps keep overall rifle balance in check. A parallax setting of 150 yards and eye relief ranging from 3.70 to 4.90 inches provide a comfortable forgiving shooting position that reduces the chance of scope bite under recoil. Designed machined and assembled in Leupold s Oregon factory the VX-Freedom is tested to the same ruggedness standards as Leupold s top-tier riflescopes and guaranteed for a lifetime of performance making it a scope hunters can mount once and trust for seasons to come.
