Lapua Unprimed Cases Features The Lapua 6.5 Creedmoor unprimed case is engineered around a small rifle primer pocket which Lapua selected specifically because it typically produces more consistent ignition and better accuracy than large primer designs in mid-sized cartridges such as the Creedmoor. The case also incorporates Lapua s smaller 1.5mm flash hole rather than the industry standard 2.0mm a feature the company has proven across other accuracy-focused cartridges like the .220 Russian 6mm BR Norma and 6.5x47 Lapua. These design choices place the 6.5 Creedmoor case in the same family as Lapua s other dedicated precision cartridges built for serious competition and long range shooting. Reloaders gain more consistent ignition from round to round as a direct result. Lapua manufactures these cases under strict control over metallurgy case forming and drawing and precise annealing with production overseen closely by the company s ammunition experts throughout. That level of quality control gives handloaders the case durability Lapua brass is known for combined with consistent dimensions and long reloading life across multiple firings. Each box contains 100 brass cases packaged in Lapua s cardboard case box a design built to keep the brass in pristine condition during shipping and storage. These are component cases intended strictly for handloading not loaded ammunition and are available for sale at GrabAGun.
