LanTac Lamprey Features The LanTac Lamprey uses a patented toothed four tine design to disrupt propellant gas more efficiently than a standard flash hider cutting down both the intensity and duration of visible muzzle flash. Six vertical blast ports direct gas upward to counteract muzzle climb during rapid fire helping shooters stay on target between shots. An internal baffle further reduces felt recoil giving the Lamprey a dual role as both a flash hider and a compensator. Machined from AISI4140 steel on precision Swiss lathes the device is hardened to roughly 55Rc for long term durability under repeated firing. The Lamprey s QPQ nitride finish applied to AMS2753D standards adds enhanced corrosion resistance and extends the part s service life in black. Threaded 1/2x28 for 5.56 NATO and .223 Remington rifles the device mounts directly onto standard AR-15 pattern barrels. Its design allows mounting of the Plan B Hub suppressor system giving shooters the option to quickly attach a compatible suppressor without swapping muzzle devices. The Lamprey ships with a timing shim set to ensure correct orientation during installation on the barrel.
