Inland IM Features The Inland Mfg IM suppressor uses a monocore baffle design built from I-Core anodized aluminum incorporating Inland s X Baffle system engineered for consistent efficient sound reduction. Because it is a monocore design rather than a stacked baffle stack the IM is easier to disassemble and clean requiring no special tools for routine maintenance. The suppressor can be run dry for standard use or loaded with Inland s dB Foam for additional sound suppression when maximum quieting is the priority. At 8.5 inches in length and 1.5 inches in diameter the suppressor adds a modest amount of length to a 5.56 rifle without excessive bulk keeping the overall package manageable for both range and field use. Mounting is handled through a direct thread interface on a 1/2x28 muzzle a widely available thread pattern on 5.56 and .223 rifles simplifying installation without an additional mounting system or extra adapters to track. The suppressor is finished in black hard anodizing a durable coating that resists wear from repeated mounting and dismounting over the life of the can. Weighing approximately 1.5 pounds the IM keeps the added weight on the end of the barrel manageable for offhand and supported shooting alike so point of aim shifts minimally with the suppressor installed. Inland backs the IM suppressor with a lifetime warranty giving owners confidence in its long term durability and the self serviceable monocore design means routine upkeep stays simple for regular range use without a trip back to the factory.
