Updated molded sides are streamlined and include channels that retain the shock cord tails keeping the retention cord organized and out of the way during use. This integrated shock cord provides adjustable tension so the magazine stays secure during movement yet draws free instantly when needed. Contoured sides allow smooth insertion and extraction reducing fumbling during a reload under pressure. Built from laser-cut nylon laminate over a woven thermoplastic core the Gen 2 TACO weighs almost 20% less than the original without sacrificing durability. Half-inch interval MOLLE webbing on the back of the pouch allows mounting on both MOLLE platforms and belt systems giving the user flexibility in how it is worn. The pouch can also accept an HSG OTR cover accessory to convert it between open-top and covered configurations depending on the mission.
