Hatsan USA INC. Apolo Slug Features The Hatsan Apolo Slug departs from conventional pellet design by using a slug-style profile that carries velocity and energy farther downrange than a typical diabolo pellet. This shape gives the projectile a favorable ballistic coefficient which translates into a flatter trajectory and less wind drift at extended distances. The design also promotes excellent weight retention on impact an important trait for hunters relying on consistent terminal performance. Hatsan recommends this slug for rifles producing at least 25 joules of energy with best results seen between 40 and 60 joules. Because the Apolo Slug is intended for the most powerful air rifles on the market it rewards shooters who have invested in a higher-output platform capable of stabilizing a heavier non-traditional projectile. Each pack contains 200 slugs giving shooters ample supply for load development practice and extended hunting or pest control sessions. The .25 caliber sizing pairs with a wide range of PCP and high-power springer rifles chambered for that bore. This is a purpose-built long-range projectile for airgun shooters who need accuracy and knockdown power well beyond typical pellet ranges. Hatsan USA INC.
