Grizzly Handgun Ammunition Features Grizzly Ammo builds this 9mm +P load around a 124 grain Full Metal Jacket Flat Point bullet a profile chosen for dependable feeding through a wide range of 9mm pistol actions. The flat point nose promotes a more direct energy transfer than a traditional round nose FMJ which can matter when the load is pressed into a hunting or defensive role. Loaded to +P pressures the round reaches a muzzle velocity of 1350 feet per second and delivers 502 foot pounds of energy noticeably more than standard pressure 9mm ammunition. Brass casings provide reliable extraction and are suitable for reloaders looking to recover and reload their fired cases. Grizzly Ammo markets this load for deer and predator hunting where the added velocity and energy of a +P round can improve performance on game-sized targets. Shooters running 9mm pistols rated for +P ammunition get a meaningful step up in power without changing calibers or platforms. Each box holds 20 rounds giving hunters and range shooters a manageable quantity to test and carry afield. For 9mm shooters wanting more downrange energy than a standard pressure load provides this Grizzly Ammo +P FMJFP round is a straightforward upgrade.
