Federal Podium Wad Features The Federal Podium Wad is built around a cylinder-shaped compression zone that cushions the shot payload at the moment of ignition reducing pellet deformation for tighter more consistent patterns. This design directly addresses the flyers that come from damaged shot giving competitive shooters a meaningful edge in dense target arrays. The wad s soft-shooting profile also reduces felt recoil which matters over the course of a long clay target round. Federal developed the Podium wad to power its own High Over All competition loads and now offers it as a standalone reloading component. A key advantage of the Podium wad is its versatile profile which allows it to be loaded into all tapered hulls including Federal s own High Over All hulls as well as Remington STS Uni-body and Winchester AA hulls. This broad compatibility means reloaders are not locked into a single hull brand when building their own premium 1-1/8 oz target loads. Packaged in White plastic and sold 500 to a box the Podium wad gives serious reloaders the volume they need for a season of practice and competition. For shooters chasing podium finishes this wad delivers the consistency to back it up.
