Faxon Firearms Streamline Handguard Features The Faxon Firearms Streamline Handguard is built from carbon fiber in partnership with Lancer Systems combining that material s well known strength-to-weight ratio with Faxon s own engineering approach to rail design. At just 6.71 ounces for a 15 inch length the handguard sheds significant weight compared to a comparable aluminum rail which matters directly to handling and fatigue over a long day of shooting or carrying the rifle. Carbon fiber also brings a rugged durability that holds up to the bumps and scrapes of regular use in the field or at the range. That combination of light weight and toughness is exactly what the Streamline is designed to deliver. Eight complete M-LOK facets run along the rail giving the shooter flexible direct-mount attachment points for lights grips bipods and other accessories without needing separate rail sections or adapters. Mounting to the rifle uses standard AR-15 barrel nuts meaning the Streamline integrates with the decades-proven AR-15 barrel nut mounting system rather than a proprietary interface. That standard compatibility simplifies installation for builders and armorers already familiar with AR-15 pattern rifles. The Faxon Firearms Streamline carbon fiber handguard is available for sale at GrabAGun for AR-15 owners seeking a lightweight accessory-ready rail upgrade.
