Faxon Firearms Streamline Handguard Features The Faxon Firearms Streamline Handguard is machined from aluminum and finished in a black anodized coating that resists wear and corrosion through repeated handling and range use. Its 6 inch length is sized for compact AR-15 builds where a shorter lighter handguard is preferred over a full length rail making it a natural fit for carbine and pistol-length gas systems where rail real estate is already tight. The M-LOK mounting system runs along the handguard letting shooters attach lights bipods grips or other accessories directly without needing rail sections bolted on which keeps the exterior free of snag points when extra attachment points are not in use. A 1.34 inch inner diameter provides clearance for most barrel profiles and gas blocks found on standard AR-15 builds so the free float design avoids contact with the barrel and helps preserve accuracy by keeping the handguard from influencing barrel harmonics. At just 0.77 pounds the Streamline keeps the front end of the rifle light which helps with handling and reduces fatigue during extended shooting sessions or long days on a duty or competition line. The 1.54 inch height keeps the handguard s profile slim maintaining a comfortable grip diameter for most shooters regardless of hand size and the aluminum construction holds that slim profile without flexing under hard use. Because it mounts to the standard AR-15 platform installation is straightforward for anyone building or upgrading their own rifle and the free float attachment method means no barrel nut interference once it is torqued into place. For shooters looking to shed weight and add modularity to their AR-15 without sacrificing durability the Faxon Firearms Streamline Handguard is a dependable upgrade that pairs a proven aluminum build with the flexibility of M-LOK for sale at GrabAGun.
