Faxon Firearms Icon Features The Faxon Firearms Icon Waterproof Backpack is built with a water resistant zipper system that keeps moisture from working its way into the main compartment a critical feature for anyone carrying gear through rain snow or river crossings. A removable laptop and gear compartment gives the user flexibility to organize electronics separately from bulkier outdoor gear or to pull the compartment entirely when it is not needed. The abrasion resistant outer shell is engineered to handle the kind of rough contact that comes with being set down on rocky ground dragged through brush or tossed into a truck bed. These design choices reflect Faxon Outdoors stated goal of bringing genuinely high end waterproof pack engineering to the outdoor market. Padded straps distribute the pack s load across the shoulders for comfortable carry over long distances whether hiking into a hunting spot or walking between camp and vehicle. A removable waist belt is included to add stability and weight transfer to the hips when the pack is loaded heavy. Finished in a Buck Skin Brown color the pack blends naturally into outdoor environments rather than standing out with a bright or tactical look. At 21 inches tall 12 inches wide and 2.7 pounds this backpack gives outdoorsmen a genuinely weatherproof rugged option for hauling gear in demanding conditions.
