Dead Down Wind Defend Permethrin Clothing Spray Features The Dead Down Wind Defend spray uses permethrin an active ingredient proven to bond with fabric fibers rather than simply sitting on the surface which is why a single treatment holds up through repeated wear and washing. Hunters can expect protection from ticks mosquitoes and other biting flies for up to 6 weeks or 6 washes per application covering an entire hunt or extended field season without reapplication. Because the formula is odorless it will not interfere with other scent control measures hunters rely on to stay undetected in the field. This makes Defend a natural companion to existing Dead Down Wind scent elimination products. Packaged in a 12 ounce spray bottle Defend is easy to apply directly to clothing before a hunt treating jackets pants and gear in minutes. Treating clothing rather than skin reduces the need for repeated applications of skin based repellents throughout a long day in a blind or stand. This is especially valuable during warm weather hunts or in regions with heavy tick and mosquito pressure where insect bites can quickly become a distraction. Hunters who spend extended hours outdoors and want long lasting scent free insect protection will find Defend a simple addition to their pre season gear routine.
